frozen explosion

this shot freezes a group of merrily dancing males doing a 'we all bunch up and then fall backwards, thus modeling an explosion' halftime routine at a basketball game. i like it.

stoplight over intersection

taken while learning to work the camera on manual. if you get in close you can see the snow streaking below the light. i slowed down the shutter speed on this one as my friend jason drogowski had advised, and i ended up with a cool shot in addition to a decently exposed picture (a challenge in and of itself when learning to photograph at night).
